Online Casino Looking to Expand

The European internet gambling industry has prominent brand entering the industry in strength. The Everest Gaming online casino gambling group is certainly not a newbie at this point, but the gaming group has operated in some of the smaller niche markets over the past year – but new announcements and a headquarters move means a larger European presence for the brand. Everest Gaming is perhaps most well known for the Everest Poker site, in addition to some smaller online casinos. The company just announced a new office and headquarters in London – now giving the company a firm and substantial launching point into the European online gambling industry.

A subsidiary of GigaMedia, Everest Gaming is really looking to expand its individual online casino and poker brands into some of the still emerging European gaming markets: Poland, Portugal, Hungary, and others. The new office in London will only serve to strengthen the company’s position in this market. The head of marketing at Everest Gaming, Jennifer Joyce, remarked on why the company chose to open a large office in Europe, "With over 95 percent of our revenue coming from Europe, we have a strong understanding of international poker markets and have enjoyed phenomenal growth since our launch in 2004.”

The addition of a London office will also up the amount of Everest Gaming employees, which will also up the company’s brand and online casinos. According to initial information, staffing the newly announced office will mean nearly doubling the amount of employees. Those new employees are really expected to help the company launch innovative marketing campaigns and further build the online casino and poker brands.
