Cantor Steps it up a Level
You may not be able to gamble at the online casinos in the United States but the
first wave of mobile gambling options is hitting Las Vegas in the coming weeks.
Thanks to the grudging support of the Nevada Gaming Commission Cantor Gaming is
launching a complete line of mobile gambling technologies that will work within
specific Las Vegas casinos and resorts. The initial deal has been inked with the
M Resort and Casino and will see Cantor Gaming rolling out its long-developed
line of hand-held remote gaming products.
Due to current online casino gambling bans, land gambling venues in the states
have traditionally had few choices when it comes to launching a mobile gaming
platform – the Cantor Gaming technology completely complies with U.S. federal
laws and still allows the land casinos to benefit from remote gaming and betting
services.
The implications of the new technology are far-reaching of the software is
effective. Other land gambling companies will likely see this as a launching pad
to the mobile online casino gambling industry (once the U.S. inevitably lifts
the gambling ban). Additionally, the land gambling companies have announced
plummeting profits and lower than normal numbers of gamblers traveling to Las
Vegas to gamble because of the dismal state of the current U.S. economy. The new
Cantor server-based gaming system allows land casinos to stir up more interest
and have a marketing edge over some of the other land gambling venues in the
city.
Both Cantor Gaming and the M Resort, Spa and Casino have publicly noted the
anticipated positive effects of this new mobile gaming technology. And although
there is little mention of the long-road, Cantor’s technology will truly give
the M brand and company an edge if ever entering the mobile and online casino
gambling industries. |
