campaign to bring back some of the company’s inactive members. The theory behind
the campaign is simple: give those nations not participating in the 2008
European Football Championships a reason to continue betting at Betfair. The

companies and the new campaign is designed to specifically help Betfair overcome
that lull.
The campaign is called “Together We Make Summer Better” and will be implemented
across all of Betfair’s land and online marketing efforts. As the Euro 2008
progressed, many gamblers in countries that lost early on lost an incentive to
heat over to the online casinos to gamble. The new promotion though will feature
all of the major European sporting events that are still going on this summer
that are available for bettors right at Betfair.
Additionally, the Betfair Marketing Manager elaborated on why the company chose
this particular advertising campaign. He notes, “The campaign allows us to
collectively group what are key blue ribbon events over the summer months and
reassert Betfair's value proposition.” Some of the more notable events that will
be featured in the online casino betting company’s campaign include golf
tournaments, the England Rugby Tour, and some major events for the European
horseracing industry – these events prove that there are alternatives to betting
on football matches.
The Flourish advertising and marketing agency is implementing the campaign every
step of the way and advertisements are already making their way to online casino
