Sportingbet Welcomes New Members

The Sportingbet team has announced the addition of two new members to the company – and at least one of the names should ring a few bells in players’ heads. Though Peter Dick resigned from the Sportingbet board in 2006 as a way to eliminate problems in the United States online casinos industry, Dick has announced that he will rejoin the betting company in a different capacity. Added to that, Sportingbet announced James Wilkinson is also joining the team. Wilkinson is new to the Sportingbet team but welcome none-the-less. Both these new businessmen are brought into the online casinos betting company and are anticipated to help the company turn around great profits and new business in 2008.

The announcement from the online casinos betting company has Dick now acting as non-executive chairman. He has extensive experience with Sportingbet and was actively a part of the Board of Directors for roughly six years (2000-2006). The only reason he left Sportingbet was as a way to avoid extradition to Louisiana from New York and subsequent charges related to violating online casinos and wireless communications regulations in the country.

Wilkinson is joining Sportingbet as the new Group Finance Director. And while very experienced with his position and some experience in the online casinos betting and gambling industries, he is new to the company yet expected to do well in the nect year.

Both individuals will start working at the online casinos betting company at the start of next month, February 1, 2007.

The CEO at Sportingbet, Andrew McIver commented on the two new members of the Sportingbet team and briefly commented on the U.S. online casinos gambling ban. He remarks, "I am delighted to welcome both Peter and Jim to the Group.
