2008 Initiatives for Neteller: Services
Neteller has announced a tri-fold approach to 2008 as the main business plan to
bring the online casinos payment processor back into the industry as a trusted
and respected choice for e-wallet services. The ongoing problems with the U.S.
Department of Justice (DoJ) in 2007 caused Neteller to loose a large part of its
customer base, and lowered public opinion about the e-wallet. But as Neteller
begins to recover from exiting the U.S. online casinos industry and the fines
levied by the DoJ, the company is looking at three main approaches to rebuilding
a customer base. The first approach is a new and highly targeted brand image
(see )
The second company initiative circles the idea of offering online casinos and
e-commerce users new services and new payment options. Neteller is already well
respected for a successful platform of online payment processing services, but
the company will take those services one step further and offer consumers even
more convenience for using Neteller services.
Some of the specific new services that will enhance payment processing for the
online casinos industry and beyond are the new increased security card products
and a few additional unique payment processing options. And for the loyal online
casinos users and e-commerce customers, Neteller has announced a rewards program
so that players can earn something back just for using Neteller’s many services.
The CEO at Neteller, Ron Martin, comments, "We have a number of key strategic
initiatives which will be launched in 2008…These developments represent a step
change in the products and services we can offer our merchants and customers. I
am confident about our strategy and that these initiatives will be reflected in
our performance for 2008.”
