Repositioning Online Casinos
There is no secret in the fact that the United State’s exit from the U.S online
casinos gambling industry caused serious losses for a large number of internet
gambling companies. Over the past year, GmableCraft has methodically recounted
each and every quarterly result that showed millions in losses as companies
restructured and looked toward new markets and emerging online casinos markets.
The latest of the companies – and one that hasn’t made the list before – is
Lasseters. This online casinos gambling company recently began running a
sportsbooking operation as a way to keep the company afloat while it regained
its footing in a new internet-based gambling industry.
Lasseters is an Australian based online casinos; the company was formerly listed
as GoCorp Ltd, but is now known as Lasseters Corp Ltd. The gambling group was
previously well off in the industry and had a solid reputation. But with the
U.S. offshore gambling ban, the company last virtually all of its market
overnight. The U.S. ban targeted any type of online casinos gambling, even if
the player was of legal consenting age – and in some cases well above the legal
age.
Along with the restructuring of the Lasseters online casinos operation the
company chose to move into the sportsbooking industry as well. Betting is a
separate sector of the industry from online gambling but at the same time is
still a highly lucrative industry with great potential and emerging markets. |
