Important is the fact that the country will now have to increase the number of state-run programs that address gambling addiction and other behaviors associated with the pastime, or else the country could face a slew of stemming issues.

As for the country’s state lottery – the three-way governing coalition, in addition to approving the online casinos, will allow more companies to participate in selling lottery tickets – thus increasing the state revenue from that sector of the gambling industry as well. Now that the regulatory amendments have been approved, the online gambling industry wont have to wait long before applying for Bulgarian internet gambling licenses.
