Arctic Poker Not Renewed
The popular online casinos poker gambling venue Arctic Poker.com was not a part
of a recent review from the eCommerce and Online Gaming Regulations and
Assurance group. What this means is that without review, the poker gambling site
is no longer able to display the eCOGRA seal of “Safe and Fair” practices which
is recognized in the international gambling industry as an indication that the
site is in fact operating according to eCOGRA’s high standards regarding
internet gambling practices.
Important to note though is the fact that the seal was pulled on for lack of a
eCOGRA review, not because the company was found in non-compliance with any of
the eCOGRA’s Generally Accepted Principles (eGAPS). eCOGRA just recently
announced six online casinos sites that were in violation of the eGAPs (the
affected casino gambling sites). eCOGRA recently reviewed the six sites and
found their practices and policies no longer up to appropriate standards. For
reasons that were not directly stated though, Arctic Circle was not among the
recent batch of online casinos recently reviewed.
An eCOGRA statement remarked, "It should further be noted that the operations
applicable to Arctic Poker (arcticpoker.com) did not form part of the eCOGRA
review, and therefore the seal for this site has been revoked, as the time by
which it should have been reviewed has expired." There is no word from Arctic
Poker whether or not the online casino poker site has any intentions of renewing
the “Safe and Fair” seal through further review from eCOGRA. |
