Software Developer Has Choices
Parlay Entertainment is a well known and respected online casinos software
development company providing services to many popular internet gambling sites.
In recent months though, Parlay has entertained an offer from PEIC Acquisition
to purchase the company for roughly Cdn $12.3 million. Parlay’s exclusive
consideration though ended a few weeks back and now it seems two other
unidentified online casinos gambling related companies are interested in the
company.
Parlay’s shareholders now have three competing offers on the table, and though
the company has not released which others in the online casinos industry have
sent written offers, Parlay did note that the new offers are superior to the Cdn
$12.3 million offered by PEIC. Preliminary statements indicate that the new
offers could pay as 25 cents more per share.
Parlay is still actively involved in the online casinos gambling industry and
there is no indication that the company and shareholders will actually accept
any of the three offers that are currently on the table. A spokesperson for
Parlay comments on precisely that point, "There can be no assurance that any
agreement will be entered into as a result of the negotiations around any
expression of interest received by the Company, nor can there be any assurance
that any proposed transaction will be completed or approved by the shareholders
of Parlay."
And though there is still skepticism about whether the company is actually going
to approve any deal from online casinos and acquisition companies. To that end
though the company has opened up a data room for two more weeks so that
interested companies can conduct due diligence. |
