Really New Markets
Online casinos and internet gambling companies interested in the emerging Asian
gambling industry is old news by now – all of the gambling groups and companies
are interested and many have already laid a foundation and established
profitable partnerships Asian facing companies. And while there is still a lot
of potential within the Asian online caisno gambling industry, many are now
looking a whole lot more pointedly at the Middle East and African gambling
markets. Poker Stars, an innovator in the online poker gambling industry, has
announced a new banner deal with Yatinoo – a search engine that is popular in
Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
This deal with Yatinoo really makes the first deal that brings the online
casinos that much closer to the middle east and Africa. These markets are not
traditionally hugely open to most forms of internet gambling, but where there is
internet, there is likely also access to the gambling sites. The banner deal
though is a big deal for Yatinoo too. Yatinoo was released fairly recently, just
in January 2007, and the product is still building its brand recognition and
still building a base of users. The deal with Poker Stars will go a long way
toward further exposing this search engine to gamblers in the Middle East,
Africa, and even the Asian countries.
The search engine is targeted toward French, English, and Arabic speaking
visitors and this should certainly act as a good return on investment for Poker
Stars as the company moves forward into the coming calendar and fiscal year. |
