Approving Affiliate Sites
The online casino gambling industry has just gained a new way to determine the
legitimacy of a site – the “GPWA Seal of Approval.” This seal represents the
Gambling Portal Webmasters Association and certifies that the site in question
is a legitimate gambling affiliate with no ties to the online casinos and
information provided on the site. The GPWA is a fairly new organization that is,
luckily, gaining support quickly from the affiliates with information and gaming
portals that link to the online gaming sites. GPWA has reached a milestone this
week with the award of 600 “Seals of Approval” to online gambling affiliates
operating sites for markets all over the world.
The seal is a brilliant idea because it gives online casino gamblers the
knowledge that they are not being led along by the site’s content. Those sites
carrying the seal are completely separate from the internet casinos they
promote. The GPWA also checks for a slew of other qualifications before awarding
the seal to an affiliate site. The site must provide additional information for
the online gambler, not contain pornography, and use honest and legitimate
search engine optimization techniques as a way to place in the engines. There
are a surprising number of information sites that use unfair and dishonest
tactics that purposefully mislead the internet gamblers searching for a new
online casino.
The Association is growing quite rapidly as the word spreads and more affiliates
are interested in obtaining the seal of approval for their information portal.
The eCOGRA seal is internationally known as a seal of approval for online
casinos and internet gambling sites. This seal differs from the eCOGRA seal in
that does not work on a gambling site itself, but rather the information portals
and other sites that point to the internet gambling sites. |
