Network Changes for Online Casino: 1
Internet poker players were a bit taken off guard this week by the announcement
that both Ultimate Bet and sister site Absolute Poker were both merging onto one
poker network. The new poker network brand, Cereus Poker, has apparently been in
development for about a year and is intended to allow both to Tokwiro
Enterprise’s internet poker sites they ability to compete with some of the other
major online casinos and poker networks. Interestingly though is the fact that
both sites were involved in major cheating scandals over the past year and the
rebranding on the brand could act as a way to disassociate the sites from some
of the controversy that has built over the past year in the online casino poker
gambling industry.
Paul Leggett is the CEO of both Ultimate Bet and Absolute Poker and he announced
that the new joint poker network will be specifically launched to provide a more
cohesive and extensive online poker gambling experience for the site’s existing
and future poker gamblers. Some of the changes that will occur as a result of
the joint poker network include larger tournaments and thus higher prize pools
at the poker tournaments, features that increase navigability between the two
sites, and more joint promotions.
According to statements from Leggett the two online casino poker gambling sites
will retain some of their unique characteristics but the new poker network will
make some of the features that are already similar conjoined. Leggett remarked,
“Our company’s goal is to provide poker players with the ultimate online
experience. The launch of Cereus is a major step for us in achieving our goal
and we look forward to making many more exciting announcements very soon.” |
