The Festivities Are Back

The UK is really a great environment for the online casinos and internet poker gambling companies now that the legislation is much more liberalized and has increased freedoms for the companies. Additionally, the internet poker company PKR has announced the Poker in the Park event may just become an annual event thanks to co-sponsorship with Bluff Magazine Europe.

Last year’s Poker in the Park event drew large crowds to the event in Central London’s Leicester Square. Land and online casino poker players are able to attend the event and participate in free poker tournaments, entertainment, merchandising booths, and more. The two day event proved popular last year and both PKR Poker and Bluff Magazine anticipate the next week’s event will similarly draw the crowds.

PKR Poker, an online casino poker brand, is the event’s primary sponsor with Bluff also providing sponsorship funds and publicity for the weekend event. The Marketing Director at PKR Poker, Simon Prodger observed about this years event, taking place on August 15-16, 2008. He notes, “This year's Poker in the Park is going to be even bigger and better than last year’s and, because it's free to participate, it creates an interesting experience for all kinds of people passing through the heart of the city.”
