Card Player magazine has a special tracking feature that enables the company to effectively cull data and results from all of the major land and online poker tournament in the world. The innovative software, “World Tracker” provides statistical and reliable data related to gambling at the land tournaments and the major tourneys at the online casinos. The latest results report from Card Player magazine indicated that Denmark was home to the most successful poker players in the world – the U.S. came in a close second.

The CEO at Card Player media, Jeff Shulman equated the newly released results with the Olympics. The results indicated that Danish players (a significantly smaller country) bested U.S. players throughout the recent major land and online casino poker tournaments. Shulman elaborated, “"The Olympics are almost upon us and the whole world will be cheering on the sporting heroes in Beijing. It's where minnows can triumph over titans and that seems to be what's happening in the poker world too.”

There is certainly truth in Shulman’s statement when you look at the fact that smaller nations dominate the top five results for medals won in major land and online casino gambling tournaments.
