Land Casino Exclusivity
Growth in the Asian gambling market is the top of many land and online casinos
concerns. With the enormous market potential, gambling companies are simply
unable to ignore the exploding land casino gambling industry. Reports in the
past few months indicate that Macau is surpassing Las Vegas as a gambling mecca.
Now though, it seems that Macau has reached its limit for land casino licenses
and will focus on developing the existing gambling industry without new
companies entering the market. As for online casinos gambling in the region,
that is still questionable in most of Asia, and many anticipate it will still be
several years before the Asian-Pacific region really opens to the possibilities
within the internet gambling industry.
The latest report from Macau announced that the company will issue no further
gambling licenses. Macau has currently licensed 28 land casinos on the island,
and apparently the island’s gambling commission anticipates that the existing
licenses are quite sufficient for the burgeoning and profitable land and online
casinos gambling industry.
Many of the world’s most prominent land and online casinos companies are among
the existing companies licensed to operate table games and slot machines. Among
these brands are Wynn Resorts, the Las Vegas Sands, and the MGM Mirage. The
newly announced restrictions on licenses is actually great news for those
already licensed on the island. Chinese lawmakers were notified of the change,
and not long after the disclosure land and online casino gambling analysts noted
that those companies operating on the island experienced a noticeable increase
in stocks after the announcement. |
