This is an issue that has been taken away in the virtual world of online casinos gambling – the chips are not a commodity because they are not actually tangible items – a players bankroll is kept in an online account rather than in chip form. And though the new chip amount at US $25,000 will facilitate bets at the $50,000 minimum table, the casinos will still use other forms of marking truly high stakes betting – where players will easily bet $100,000 using plaques and markers.

As for the specific of the new chip that will be used throughout Atlantic City land casinos, the $25,000 chip will take the place of the previous highest gambling chip and will look very similar to the $20,000 chip that it is replacing. But to ensure that the casinos are able to tell the difference, the two chips will be slightly different shades of yellow. Other than that the land gambling companies will still be able to imprint the casino logo on the chips. All of the other chip values ranging from $1 to the new $25,000 are still available at all of Atlantic City’s gambling venues.
