Easy Online Casinos in U.S. Again?
With the exit of Neteller from the U.S. online casinos industry, the majority of
U.S. players no longer had an easy way to gamble online. Many internet gambling
sites were forced into using an intricate depositing process, and many could not
guarantee that they could even get the money back into the player’s account
because of the U.S.’s 2006 online casino ban. Neteller, a prominent e-wallet in
the internet gambling industry, continued to provide e-gambling services to
poker and gambling players in the U.S. after the ban and subsequently faced
hefty fines and a lengthy investigation process. Now though, PokerStars.com has
announced that the ease of Neteller is back for U.S. players despite the
restrictions at U.S. financial institutions.
The online casino poker site, PokerStars.com announced that a limited number of
U.S. players will initially be able to use e-check options – with full inclusion
an option down the road. Specifically, the electronic check option will allow
PokerStars.com to withdraw money directly from an online casinos players
checking account. The PokerStars.com Web site says, "Instant eChecks are now
available to a limited number of players, with plans to make eChecks available
to all U.S. players in the near future."
The verification process for U.S player’s checking accounts is extensive – which
is part of the reason the service will only be offered to a limited number of
U.S. players at first. The great thing about the new e-check options is the fact
that player winning can also be directly transferred into the checking accounts
of verified online casino poker players.
U.S. online casino poker players will have limitations on the new e-check
feature – minimum transfers of US $25 and maximum of US $600 daily and a cap of
US $2,000 each month.
