New System for Land to Online Casinos
The mobile gambling industry is on the rise and naturally the land-based casinos
are also looking for ways to move into this growing sector of the online casino
industry. And for that express purpose, Microgaming has announced a new system
that enables cash-based organizations to simply and effectively move their
payment processing into a workable system for the online casinos and mobile
gambling industries. Spin 3 is the mobile gambling division of Microgaming and
thus has launched the new OnCash system for land-based casinos.
Basically, with the expansion of the mobile online casino gambling industry,
land-based casinos now have a way to tap into the potential within the new
mobile gambling sector. Rather than fight the growth of online casinos, the
land-based casinos can now join the industry even if they operate out of a
country with a largely cash-based economics. OnCash is designed for these cash
based countries and now enables land-based casinos to operate Microgaming
developed games for the mobile and online casino platforms whilestill using a
cash-to-credit system.
Because the mobile gambling industry is so very new, Spin 3 is the first company
to “identify the gap” between developing the mobile online casino gaming content
and the “business ecosystem used to deliver them,” says the head of Spin 3,
Matti Zinder.
Zinder also specifically noted that OnCash shows great potential for developing
the online casinos and mobile gambling industries in huge target markets like
Southeast Asia. He notes, “we have already begun the product's first trial run,
and are looking at a number of potential retail partners in this region and
beyond in the near future."
