Mobile Gambling Grows

market. According to the study, by 2010 mobile gaming will be a $12 billion sub
industry. And though that prediction may seem high to some, mobile online
casinos gambling is still in its infancy stages in actuality and is predicted to
continue exponential growth for years.
The United States is another factor that could greatly increase the predicted
worth of the global mobile online casino gambling industry. Though the current
Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) bans all forms of online
casino gambling transactions, including mobile gambling, most in the industry
predict that the U.S. will pass neutralizing legislation very soon.
The report also included information on specific areas of the mobile online
casino industry with the most predicted growth. Specifically, “mobile lotteries
already experienced significant levels of adoption in the Far East” comments the
author of the research study.
