Popular Game Now Offered At Online Casinos
The wildly successful online casual game, Jewel Quest, will now be exclusively
offered for online gamblers through CrytoLogic powered online casinos. A
subsidiary of CryptoLogic, WagerLogic, has formed the agreement with iWin, Inc.
concerning rights to Jewel Quest for online casino gambling. The game will be
adapted by WagerLogic for use as an online slot machine game.
The casual game Jewel Quest is currently offered through portals like Yahoo!,
AOL, and MSN.com. Once the online casino version of the game is offered, the
casual game will still be available for those non-gamblers on the mentioned
portals, but the gambling version will be exclusive property of CryptoLogic and
its subsidiaries and affiliated online casino Web sites. The game debuted in
2004, and since has had over 40 million downloads on the various portals. For
this reason, the online casino version of the game looks promising in terms of
popularity.
The planned debut at CryptoLogic online casinos is next month, June 2007. The
gambling version will have a slightly new take on the casual game, while still
retaining the integrity of the original version. Plans for the online casino
version include a treasure hunt through an ancient Mayan civilization. There are
also various bonus options on all five playing levels. The wagers start as low
as one (1) GBP, but because of the way the game is set up, players have to the
potential to win huge even on low wagers.
CryptoLogic’s new CEO and president, Javaid Aziz, is known for making bold
partnerships in the short time he has been CEO. Recently he commented on the
agreement with iWin. “CryptoLogic continues to pioneer play-for-real casino
versions of wildly popular Internet games such as Bejeweled and Cubis - and
we're confident that we have a new 'jewel' in our crown. Jewel Quest's exciting
bonus rounds, ever-changing layers, and spectacular visuals are certain to
engage players everywhere. Based on the popularity of CryptoLogic's casual game
series, it's clear we've enhanced entertainment for players - and enhanced
business for our customers.”
