Playtech Has New CEO

Mor Weizer is taking over Playtech as the new CEO. Right now, Playtech will benefit from a shift in upper management rather than merely promoting one individual. As Weizer moves into the CEO position, the incumbent will take over as Deputy Chairman. Playtech is an online casino games development company, and also a turnkey provider.

From the recent information released from this online casino games developer, Weizer is the ideal candidate for the CEO position. As Senior Operational Manager Weizer has been an integral part of the Playtech team for nearly two years (he joined Playtech in 2007)—and now this latest position puts him at the top of the ladder at the online casino development company so to speak. Weizer has an established background in accounting, however, was primarily responsible for overseeing customer relations and technical support for the online casinos affiliated with TechPlay. Additionally, Weizer has handled all areas surrounding online casino software licensing at Playtech.

“His new role will ensure that the company continues to reap the rewards of his extensive industry knowledge and entrepreneurial skills. I am pleased to welcome Mor Weizer. As Playtech's customer base continues to grow and increasingly includes large multinational clients it is essential that the Chief Executive has a strong experience of managing complex multi-dimensional client relationships and Mor is ideally suited to that role. In light of the significant advances made in the last year under the direction of Avigur, one of the principal roles of the Chief Executive is now on cementing these advances while continuing to develop the business.”
