Playing Online Casinos Gets Harder for U.S. Gamblers
Another reason why it may just be safer for U.S. players to hold of on gambling
until the United States makes a firm decision on its stance toward online casino
gambling—now a payment processing company based out of Europe has announced it
cannot currently payout money to any U.S. based gamblers.
Click2Pay processes online casinos payments from both European gamblers, and
U.S. based players, but now they have announced that they just don’t know how to
proceed—they simply can no longer handle U.S. internet gambling withdrawals.
Now, the company isn’t trying to scheme and gamblers out of their money, they
are a reputable company working with many online casinos, but because of the
U.S.’s gambling restrictions and legislation, the company is left with few
options.
But, of course, while the company is working on solving the problem with the
U.S. withdrawals, they are still accepting U.S. monies—this means players can
still gamble and process the first part of the payments, but then it’s still in
the air just precisely how they will be getting any money back from Click2Pay.
The reported error message players are receiving is this: "Due to recent
developments and to the existing legal situation in the US, we cannot process
any wire transfers to US customers until further notice. We are sorry for the
inconvenience.
"Of course your funds remain accessible to you in your Click2Pay account. We can
assure you that we are currently working on implementing a solution to this
problem.
"We suggest transferring your funds to any merchant website and using the
withdrawing options there.
"We assure you that we are working daily to improve our services and processes
and hope you will remain a trusted and valued user of Click2Pay."
