Can Mansion Survive

Mansion is a online casino gambling group making headlines in recent years for the millions of dollars the company is investing in other online gambling interests. The company has a wide range investments ranging from online casinos and tournaments to sponsorships with the Tottenham football club to even a Pokerdome built in Los Angeles. Now though rumors are circulating in the online casino gambling industry that not only is Mansion beginning to focus on the online poker industry, but also that the Mansion Gambling Group will move to the Playtech network in the coming months.

The rumors about moving to Playtech are unconfirmed at this point as neither company commented on whether Mansion plans to use Playtech’s iPoker network. Specifically, E Gaming Review requested a comment from the online casino gambling group Mansion, a company spokesperson responded: “This is not a rumor I can substantiate. There have been a number of network providers who have come forward offering their services, but it is not something I can comment on.”

Some feel the new interest in veering away from merely online casinos and focusing on online poker gambling stems from the U.S.’s recent Unlawful Internet Gambling Act. Many companies in the online casino and gambling industries took significant hits in revenue after losing a substantial U.S. player base. Though many online casino industry analyst claim that the company is not in dire straights so-to-speak, there have been a few company decisions recently that indicate that Mansion may a tad unstable. Most notably is the companies decision to shutdown the sports-booking business side of Mansion, and now reroute clients to sports-betting exchange.
