CryptoLogic is Seeing Green

Just a few months ago CryptoLogic announced plans to move the base operations for the company to Ireland, and now it looks as though the company move may be just around the corner. CryptoLogic is an online casino software provider, and just happens to be one of the most popular software platforms on the market today. Online casinos that use CryptoLogic software can be sure that their players will be happy since the company’s software is consistently ranked number one in player-based poles.

CryptoLogic’s current headquarters in Toronto, Canada are no longer necessary since the decline of the U.S. based online casinos companies. So, not long after all of the online casinos operating CryptoLogic software stopped servicing U.S. players, the company announced a huge change in management, along with a location change to Dublin, Ireland (the events were unrelated).

Most other companies involved in the online casino industry are not surprised that CryptoLogic is moving out of North America; it seems to be the trend. But surely Canada will feel the loss of this company considering CryptoLogic is worth roughly €77 million a year. So far the it looks like CryptoLogic only has one more hoop to jump through before the relocation to the Emerald Isle is completely set: approval from the Superior Court of Ontario.
