Dying Gambling Brand
Loyal online casino players at Trident Entertainment and Vegas USA are
expressing concern that the brands are diminishing in value now that the site
has consolidated with King Neptune’s Casino. The online casinos industry is
constantly announcing mergers and the such, but generally, the companies are
attuned to their registered players who are also affected by mergers and
consolidations. But players are concerned that Trident Entertainment and Carmen
Media are not adequately offering players alternatives to staying with a dying
brand.
Specifically, the two companies and their affiliated Web sites will now be
consolidated under the new flagship brand, King Neptune’s Casino. And while
consolidations and mergers often strengthen an online casinos brand – in this
case, existing player accounts already registered with the sites are not being
transferred over to the King Neptune brand. Players have criticized Carmen Media
and Trident for the decision to leave current online casino players “languishing
with a slowly dying brand." But in that same token, the two sites have assured
players that they will continue to receive all player benefits, promotions, and
customer support.
King Neptune’s online casino site is a growing brand name in the industry, and
will only continue to grow now that all newly registering players at Trident
Lounge and Vegas USA are redirected to sign up for internet gaming at the King
Neptune site. Carmen Media released information to players who enquired about
the redirect to King Neptune’s online casinos site citing the strength of the
King Neptune brand and the benefits on consolidating under one name as main
reasons for the consolidation. Carmen Media notes that they anticipate the site
will “become a recognised[sic] force in the marketplace.
Though some of the players are still displeased that the online casinos failed
to notify players before the consolidation, the sites are looking positively
toward the future of the King Neptune Brand.
