All Online Casinos Now Welome
The online casino industry is moving toward the idea that all companies operate
with social responsibility to the players and the communities. In the UK, as of
September many internet gambling sites will operate under much stricter
requirements from the government or face hefty financial penalties. The entire
industry is becoming more aware of the need for companies and groups that look
out for the online casinos players. That is why eCommerce and Online Gaming
Regulation and Assurance (eCOGRA) is now welcoming all internet gambling sites
to pass through the stringent requirements and receive certification of fair and
honest sites.
Previously eCOGRA’s “seal of approval” was reserved for online casinos using
only gaming software from eCOGRA members. Now though the CEO at eCOGRA, Andrew
Beveridge, released a statement that eCOGRA is both expanding its services and
verfying more internet gambling sites than previously. eCOGRA is well known in
the online casino industry for testing gambling sites and monitoring the
fairness of the games offered.
In the statement Beveridge noted that the expansion of reviewable sites will not
affect the companies high standards. He comments, "There is no reduction in the
inspection and monitoring levels, or the standards required to satisfy our
independent directors before an organisation is certified.” Then he goes on to
note that the new policy regarding online casino “opens up [the company’s]
services to a wider range of online gambling operators who want to achieve third
party verification that the players are protected, the games are fair, and
responsible practices are implemented.”
eCOGRA has long been a name associated with fair online casino gaming because of
the extremely high standards and constant innovations in the monitoring of
internet gambling sites.
