So Many Events, So Little Time
The fall online casino and e-gaming conferences for fall 2007 are shaping up to
be a busy couple of months as companies and executives line up transportation
and arrangements to attend to the year’s top conferences. The online casinos
industry has changed significantly in the last year so it is more imperative
than ever before that executives and companies stay current on the industry news
and newly released gaming technology. Add to that more companies regulating the
internet gambling industry than previously and companies will be gathering to
discuss precisely how to safeguard themselves and their internet gamblers in the
coming year.
First on the event schedule is the European iGaming Expo (EiG) occurring this
October. The previous EiG was hugely successful and allowed online casino
company executives from around the globe the chance to meet, mingle, discuss and
learn about new technology. The event has innumerable booths and opportunities
for attendees to really explore the dynamic online casino gambling industry. And
it doesn’t hurt that the event is taking place in Barcelona this year. The great
weather and a fantastic location are enough to lure the internet gambling
companies for the three day weekend, October 2-4, 2007.
Then, just a month later many of those same online casino companies will be
represented at the World Poker Congress. This event focuses less specifically on
the online casinos but will host conferences and facilitate discussion centering
on changes in the land-based and online casino poker industry. And fittingly
considering the heavy gambling activities in Malta, the small island is hosting
this event. The two day event (November 27-28, 2007) is open to a variety of
industry poker professionals and the poker gambling sites and companies.
Another event aimed at a different sector of the online casino gambling
industry, the events have everyone covered. Internet bingo and skill gaming
expanding rapidly in 2007 and are seeing an unprecedented number of gamers. For
that reason any industry folks already involved in either of these two areas, or
for online casinos looking to expand, the i-Gaming Indepth: Skill Games and
Bingo conference also in Malta is a must visit. Occurring directly following the
World Poker Congress event organizers are anticipating high numbers of event
attendees.
There are more events in the schedule for the fall but these are a few of the
major ones related to the online casino industry that promise to be both hugely
informative, and fun to boot.
