Not everyone can make it to Las Vegas for the annual World Series of Poker main event on July 6, 2007. But that doesn’t mean that online casino and poker players have no options if they are not among the elite entering the WSOP. Bluff Magazine has partnered with World Poker Tour (WPT) to pull off “Poker in the Park” – an afternoon of poker in Leicester Square, London.

Bluff Magazine is one of the top poker and online casino poker gambling magazines in Europe, and just recently they gave London the coveted title of “Europe’s Number 1 Poker City.” To celebrate that title, Bluff and WPT will present London’s Mayor with a commemorative plaque.

But that is just one part of “Poker in the Park.” In fact, poker players attending the event will have a whole afternoon of possible activities if they choose. For players who envying the WSOP tournament and all of the celebrities and poker professionals, don’t worry, “Poker in the Park” will feature some high profile guests who are known in the poker and online casino industries, and the world at large. First off, rightly, the CEO of WPT, Steve Lipscomb, has plans to attend next week’s event. Then to top it off, players have to opportunity to meet, and possible play poker with, actress Mimi Rogers.

The event occurs of Friday, July 6, 2007 from Noon to 4:00pm. The event is inclusive and will have poker gaming options for all skill levels from beginner to pro and is a great way for online casino poker players to get out of the house. The only hard fast requirement is age, so as long as event attendees are 18 years and up, they will have a great time at Bluff Magazine and WPT’s “Poker in the Park.”
