New Company Out of Ireland

Though the company was founded over seven years ago, Worldspreads plans a launch this week on the London AIM. The co-founders, Conor Foley and Brian O’Neill, founded Worldspreads in 2000. Foley comes to the company with a background in the financial services sector while O’Neill boasts similarly impressive experience within the investments and treasury field. Though neither have previously ventured into the online casinos industry, their collective experience in neighboring industries bodes well for their success with Worldspreads.

Worldspreads differs from other online casino betting companies because it encompass a different form of betting – spreads betting. Specifically, the company’s services can be used over the internet or via telephone. Then, interested online casino bettors can find out the prices for anything from sports betting, horseracing, and even applicable prices within the financial industry.

And though the company has just launched on the London AIM, that does not mean Worldspreads is green behind the ears. In fact, Worldspreads is already fairly established in the online casino betting industry with offices in London, Dublin, and Athens. Other affiliated offices exist in Austria, Germany, Hungary, Spain, and South Africa. The company’s release of shares on AIM is in efforts to raise Euro 8 million next week. The long-term goal for the company’s shares: Euro 37 million.
