Cryptologic Looking Ahead

With a new headquarters, three new board members, and a change in the company’s Director Crypologic is truly positioned to began the planned expansion in to the online casino industry in Europe and Asia. Asia is a popular focus for many online casinos related companies as the market potential is huge and still largely untapped. And as part of the company’s future expansion plans, A few months ago Cryptologic announced its plans to operate the world renown software development company out of the Emerald Isle.

Cryptologic’s chairman, Robert Strikeman announced the new additions to the Cryptologic board along with the departure of the two year Director Nigel Simon. Simon stayed with the company through the move to Ireland and has played a significant part in Cryptologic’s continued prestige in the online casinos software development industry. He previously held a top positions with Gallaher Group Plc., and a position with a the Prince’s Trust Charity. The departure was anticipated though, so Cryptologic is not anticipating any setbacks as it continues forward in the online casino industry.

But in addition to the departure announcement, Strikeman also announced the Cryptologic was welcoming three new board members: Tom Byrne, Brian Hadfield, and
Wai Ming Yap. These three new board members each have a specialized skill that will further the company’s European and Asian expansion plans. Though they are not specifically specialized in online casinos, the members so bring a knowledge base that is deemed integral to the Asian and European expansion.
