PlayShare Executive Addresses Concerns PlayShare’s part in the recent White Label controversy has caused some careful public relations work from the successful online casino site. PlayShare is a licensed Microgaming site that began offering White Label service early this year. Within the past few weeks though players are converging on the message boards to address the inherent problems in the White Label industry. Some player’s feel cheated about playing on White Label online casinos sites that were not upfront about how they used the Microgaming software.
PlayShare currently has 32 White Label sites that use Microgaming technology although they are not licensed to use the software from Microgaming, but rather as an affiliate of PlayShare. This method of White Labeling numerous White Label sites increases profits for the parent company, but also tends to irritate online casino players who are unaware that the sites are not individual internet gambling sites.
As the frustrated online casino players flooded the message boards, the CEO at PlayShare, Max Wright, did some damage control by addressing key issues and assuaging player concerns. He comments, “Over the last few days we have worked closely with MicroGaming to define new WL rules. From now on we will be aligning our WL strategy with the strict guidelines that we and MicroGaming have set out…PlayShare acknowledges that there are areas for improvement in our White Label Program and we are committed to working on these areas. I trust that you feel reassured that all your concerns are being addressed and I invite you to get in touch with me should you require anything further."
