The film though doesn’t only look at the high roller’s losing millions though. Theroux meets up with the typical example of disillusioned gambling enthusiasts—and those exist as a result of the land-based casinos, and as a result of online casino gambling. A pair of gentlemen Theroux meets are down $24,000, and instead of cutting their loses and going home, they are convinced that they can turn around their luck and go home in the green.

This last pair is the perfect example of why gambling is so dangerous, and Theroux ensures the audience sees just how disillusioned the gamblers are.
