Bill Doesn't Stop Some Online Casinos A recent statement from the online casino group Jackpot Factory has some United States players breathing a sigh of relief for the time being. Since the U.S. has enacted the new bill aimed at limiting U.S. citizens’ access to online casinos that will accept monies from U.S. citizens, many online gambling companies are quickly just backing out of the U.S. Many companies have already stopped allowing U.S. gambling, and others have moved their business elsewhere out of sheer fear of litigation from the U.S. when they begin to enforce their anti-online casino Bill.
The Jackpot Factory though announced that they are continuing their business as planned despite this new Act. All in all, Jackpot Factory is a company that controls eight online casinos and poker Web sites. Though they are not sure of how this bill will affect their company in the long-term, for now they plan to stay open to U.S. citizens.
Jackpot Factory had the following to say concerning the U.S.’s Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act: "Without a doubt, this (the new US anti-online gambling legislation) is a serious development in our industry; however, the Jackpot Factory Group and its casinos are continuing with business as usual for the foreseeable future."
They went on to say: "We are committed to providing a fun and reputable online casino experience… More importantly, though, players will still be able to find safe and secure online gambling at any one of our casinos and affiliates will continue to receive the professional service that they have come to know." |
